Tuscarora Township wanted to create a boat launch on the Indian River to provide additional access to Burt Lake. With GFA’s assistance, the Township was able to obtain grant funding from the Michigan Department of Natural Resources to complete the project. GFA’s design included a sheet pile seawall, gravel parking area, restrooms and boat launch. This recreation site will continue to provide additional access to Burt Lake for years to come.
