GFA provided full civil design engineering and construction services for this Socks Construction project in Elk Rapids, Michigan. The Elk Lake Inn is a 20,848 square-foot, 17-unit hotel that is the first formal lodging facility in Elk Rapids. The hotel consists of a ground level asphalt parking lot with 19 spaces that is covered above by the second and third floors of the hotel, a lobby, game room, dining area and rooftop patio. Historic commercial use of the property left it contaminated presenting storm water and engineering design challenges to the project. GFA provided full site engineering and construction services for the project.
