GFA provided construction project management, oversite, and testing services for the project on behalf of MDOT for the construction of two roundabouts on M-72 in Acme Township. The roundabouts were constructed by the Grand Traverse Tribe of Ottawa and Chippewa Indians, under permit with MDOT, to provide safer turns at the M-72 intersection with Lautner Road due the Village of Grant Traverse development. The roundabouts signal the unofficially east entry to Traverse City for those traveling from Kalkaska to the east. GFA ensured all construction was performed in compliance with MDOT specifications and the construction plans.
