High water levels and extreme weather on Michigan’s Great Lakes often threaten and damage the property of many waterfront homeowners in the region. These properties can often be protected with stone revetments, sheet piling, or forms of natural protection. From the initial consultation, to design and plan preparation, to EGLE permitting and construction oversite, GFA has successfully completed numerous shoreline stabilization projects, each which their own unique restrictions and challenged, to help protect shorelines from the high water levels.
